A tech entrepreneur since 1999, Guillaume Ponsard founded and led Cyrès, a company specializing in hosting and cloud services, which was later acquired by the Adista Group. Building on this experience, he founded CentralPay in Tours in 2002 with the goal of building an independent, profitable, and sustainable French payment institution. Now President of CentralPay, he steers the company’s strategy with a core conviction: payment performance relies on the automation of workflows and technological expertise. As Treasurer of AFEPAME, he is actively involved in European regulatory issues affecting the sector (PSD3, PSR). In his opinion pieces, he shares his vision of sovereign fintech and the transformation of financial processes for French SMEs and mid-sized companies.
