PSP agent status allows a platform to provide payment services in the name and on behalf of CentralPay, without having to obtain its own payment institution license. The agent acts under the responsibility of CentralPay, which handles its registration with the ACPR. This status is suitable for platforms that collect funds or transmit payment orders on behalf of their customers.
The MOBSP (Agent for Banking Operations and Payment Services) is an IOBSP status governed by the Monetary and Financial Code. It applies to professionals who engage in intermediary activities, particularly in payment services, under one or more non-exclusive mandates. MOBSPs must be registered with ORIAS.
