FAQ

Questions about CentralPay payment accounts?

It's an IBAN-enabled account, held by the payment service provider, that centralizes receipts and manages fund movements before redistribution to the various bank accounts. It becomes the single point of entry for flows, reporting, and internal controls.

Yes. Many organizations record it as a cash account in their chart of accounts (account 512 logic), or as a technical transit account, depending on their internal organization and the accountant's recommendations.

CentralPay automatically creates a dedicated commission account. Gross receipts arrive in the main bank account, while fees are kept separate. The gross/net balance is immediately apparent, and bank reconciliation is simplified.

Each event in a payment (card authorization, transaction, associated fees) is linked by a common identifier. This native traceability provides a complete audit trail, usable without reprocessing for internal controls and financial reporting.
